About the Role
We are looking for a Fullstack Developer Intern who is excited to build real-world websites and products. You will work on Orkait's main platform and client projects, primarily using AstroJS (with ReactJS where required). This role focuses on building fast, clean, and production-ready web experiences.
Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Learning and refining the existing AstroJS (primarily ReactJS) codebase and building new pages and components.
- Working on client websites by customizing templates, adding content, and fixing small UI and functional issues.
- Collaborating with designers and developers, raising pull requests, responding to reviews, and sharing daily progress updates.
- Ensuring websites are responsive, performant, and follow basic SEO and accessibility best practices.
Requirements
- 2nd or 3rd-year students from CS, IT, or AI/ML fields are preferred.
- Candidates with strong DSA fundamentals can also apply.
- Good understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Basic familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
- Willingness to learn, take ownership, and work on real production code.
